January Staff Member of the Month - Jordan Fox

1. Tell us a little about yourself: what are some fun facts about you?

I am from St. Marys, West Virginia. I played basketball at Ohio Valley University. I enjoy the outdoors and I love dogs.

2. What do you do at the YMCA of Parkersburg? Tell us a little about it.

I am the Membership Director. I took on this role in July and I've really enjoyed this new experience so far!

3. When and why did start working at the YMCA?

I started working at the YMCA right before I graduated college in 2021. Meissa Diop who is one of the Youth Development Coordinators here at the Y happened to be my assistant basketball coach at OVU. She praised how great of a workplace the Y was and encouraged me to apply!

4. What is your favorite part of working at the YMCA of Parkersburg? Or what are you most looking forward to? 

My favorite part is being able to give back to the community and build relationships with the patrons!
