We offer classes for all ages, all levels, and all interests. From low-impact exercise and chair classes, stretching and strength training to indoor cycling, water exercise, and yoga, you’ll find a group class that’s fun, supportive and keeps you moving. Group Fitness Classes are FREE for Y Members. Day and Class Passes are available for Non-members.
Fitness Class Descriptions
Strength and Toning
PILATES: A conditioning routine that helps build long, lean muscles while emphasizing core strength, endurance, flexibility, and posture. Tuesdays 9:30AM
FUSION: The perfect mix of weights, balls and mat work that increases strength and activates deep stabilizer muscles. Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8:30AM.
STRONG: A step-by-step weight lifting class using a variety of equipment and exercises to help you achieve overall body strength. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays at 10:30AM.
TNT: (Trim and Tone): Keep your heart healthy and your muscles toned. Improve flexibility and build strength. Mondays & Wednesdays at 6:00PM.
Aquatic Fitness Classes
AQUA FITNESS: Build cardiovascular stamina, strength, and flexibility in the water. Benefits include increasing circulation to help you rehabilitate healing muscles and joints. Mondays & Wednesdays at 9:00AM.
AQUA ZUMBA: An energetic water fitness class with a mix of Latin and international music. Aerobic fitness is included with a combination of fast and slow rhythms to tone the body. Saturdays at 9:00AM.
Senior Fitness Classes
SILVER SNEAKERS: Have fun and move to music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activities for daily living. A chair is used for seated support. Recommended age 65+. Tuesdays & Thursdays at 11:00AM.
Cardio/Dance Fitness Classes
CYCLING: A spin class that helps build endurance, stamina, and enhance total well-being. Tuesdays & Thursdays at 5:00AM. Saturdays at 8:30AM. Mondays & Tuesdays at 6:00PM.
STEP AEROBICS: Choreographed exercises that incorporates a traditional step promoting cardiovascular fitness as well as lower-body strength. Wednesdays & Fridays at 9:30AM.
Meditation Fitness Classes
YOGA: A combination of deep breathing, stretching, and balance exercises that will enhance your total well-being. Thursdays at 9:30AM and Sundays at 4:00PM.
